Jan K. Overweel Limited began operations in 1947. The company began as an importer of Holland Herring fish products and grew to add specialty cocoa and cheese products.

Today, Jan K. Overweel Limited specializes in the importation and distribution of Italian, Dutch, English, Danish, Swiss and Canadian cheese products. Jan K. Overweel Limited also carries an extensive selection of grocery products, namely, olive oil, vinegar, coffee, marinated vegetables, biscuits, hazelnut spread, fish, cocoa, and water. Tomatoes, pasta and rice products and most recently, Italian parma prosciutto, cured meat products from Europe.

Jan K. Overweel Limited has also begun to develop a range of confectionary products, namely, Italian Christmas cakes, Swiss biscuits and Torrone products. In an effort to distinguish Jan K. Overweel Limited as a specialty importer and distributor of fine products, we have developed our private label EMMA Brand of products.

EMMA products are the result of years of collaboration withsuppliers to develop a premium product of the highest quality at an economical price for our customers and consumers. Thus we have incorporated the phrase "We Shop The World" exclusively for our EMMA Label.

After some 50 years in operation we continue to conduct business using the same basic values that were in effect when the company was established. We Strive to work deligently and to provide our customers with a level of service which sets the standard in the industry.
